Application Requirements Xena: My parents are really proud of what I do but they really can’t tell everybody exactly what I do or where I work for. Martin: Just knowing that I have to get up in the morning and go to work for me is a motivating factor because I know that whatever I do that day is going to be productive and have some type of impact. Greg: One in particular told me that tonight I’m going to be able to sleep through the night and thanked me and that makes it absolutely worth it. John: It’s hard not to feel like you make a difference in the end. John Raucci: The National Security Internship helps us recruit the best and the brightest from a variety of schools. We have found that the young men and women who have participated in the program bring to the table not only unique and extraordinary academic credentials but those critical languages that we need for the future of our work force. Joseph: There is no other internship that is going to give you that firsthand experience of dealing with real cases real people real work. Sarah: A lot of times interns or students are thinking all we need is someone who can speak this language but that’s not true. If you are familiar with a culture and familiar with a language the FBI can use you.
