The Analyst My name is Jeanette, I’m with the america’s desk officerImmigration Enforcement Customs Department of Homeland Security. I speak two languages, espanol e englais. I use my language skills in my career almost on a daily basis whether it’s through phone calls with the attaches in Central and South America or when I go overseas to provide them analytical support. I also have a chance to discuss you know Intel related information with the foreign government and you need to have a language in order to do that. I’ve traveled to Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, that was my last travel and it’s very exciting because you get to just interject yourself into the culture and just really meet a lot of great people that way. Before that I was a school teacher I taught for nine years kindergarten to second grade and I am a strong believer that our children are our future so if we want to protect our nation that’s how we start. My name is Jeanette, I work for the Department of Homeland Security and the United States of America. I love my job.
